The World Snooker Federation (WSF) Junior and Women’s Championships take place at the Radisson Blu Resort in Saïdia, Morocco between 18-23 January 2025.

The winner of the WSF Junior Championship will earn a two-year tour card for the World Snooker Tour (WST) from the start of the 2025/26 season. The winner of the Women’s tournament will earn a place at the qualifying round of the professional World Championship this April (if not already professional).

WSF Junior Championship

The tournament, won last year by Hungary’s Bulcsú Révész, takes place from 18-23 January.

Junior Format

The provisional format is as follows:

  • All group matches will be the best of 5 frames.
  • The top two players in each group will progress to the knockout rounds
  • All knockout rounds up to and including the semi-finals will be the best of 7 frames.
  • The final will be the best of 9 frames.

Women’s Format

The provisional format is as follows:

  • The 16 players have been drawn in four groups of four players
  • The top two players from each group will progress to the knockout stage.
  • All qualifiers from the group stages will be positioned in the knockout draw according to group stage performance in line with the established WWS qualifying criteria.

Group matches will be played over the best of three frames, knockout rounds to be 5/7/7.

The Challenge Cup tournament will be played in accordance with the 6-Red rules.
