Rune Kampe further strengthened his dominance of the Danish domestic snooker scene by winning his seventh consecutive national championship.
A field of 32 players – 16 seeds and 16 qualifiers – converged at the Copenhagen Pool and Snooker House in the Danish capital for the three-day event.
Kampe relinquished just a frame in qualifying from Group A, but he did have to endure a 3-2 deciding frame finish against Ejler Hame in the last 16.
The 44-year-old subsequently defeated Allan Norvark 3-0, Thomas Bechmann 4-1 and then Gilbert Albertsen 4-1 in the final to claim a 13th national title overall.
