WSF Championships 2022: Event Information
The 2022 WSF Championships run from 15-26 February 2022 and important event information can be found below.
WSF Junior Championship
The tournament will run from 15-18 February.
WSF Championship
The tournament will run from 19-26 February.
Format
The format for both competitions is as follows:
- All group matches will be the best of 5 frames.
- The top two players in each group will progress to the knockout rounds
- All knockout rounds up to and including the last 16 will be the best of 5 frames
- The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be the best of 7 frames.
- The final will be the best of 9 frames.
Venue Information
Both tournaments will be played at the following venue:
- Ding Junhui Snooker Academy, 1st Floor, Castlegate House, 12-18 Haymarket, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S1 2AX (Tables 1-12)
Due to the exceptional number of entries received for the Open Championship, there will be an additional two tables in use at Victoria’s Snooker Academy:
- Victoria’s Snooker Academy, 3, Metis, 5 Scotland St, Sheffield S3 7AT (Tables 13-14)
It is the responsibility of the players to be at the correct venue and at their table in time for the start of their match.
