The entry deadline for the 2024 World Snooker Federation Championships has been extended until Friday 12 January.
Due to be held at the Grand Blue Fafa Resort in Golem, Albania from 29 January – 11 February 2024, the prestigious event will include the staging of two major international tournaments, the WSF Junior Championship (29 January – 2 February) and the WSF Championship (3-11 February).
The winner of each tournament will earn a coveted two-year tour card to the professional World Snooker Tour from the start of the 2024/25 season.
With approximately 300 entries from 39 countries already received across both Championships, the event is set to be one of the biggest amateur and most diverse competitions in history and players still have one week at the time of writing to join the action in Albania.
The WSF is aware that a number of players are currently awaiting visa applications and in order to give all players the best opportunity to compete, have taken the decision to extend the entry deadline.
There will also be a World Women’s Snooker Tour ranking event held alongside the Junior Championship, with more information available via the official WWS website.
All entries must be received through the WPBSA SnookerScores website.
The deadline for entries and payments for both events is 12:00pm GMT on Friday 12 January 2024.
