Entry is now open for the 2026 WSF Championships, which will run from 19 January – 1 February at the Hotel Marinela, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Announced earlier this month, the biggest Championships in amateur snooker will comprise three prestigious events, the WSF Junior Championship & WSF Women’s Championship (19-23 January) and the WSF Championship (24 January – 1 February).

Both the Junior and Open Championships represent official Tour qualifying events, with the winner of each tournament set to earn their place on the professional circuit from the start of the 2026/27 season. The champions will succeed 2025 champions Gao Yang and Leone Crowley.
The WSF Women’s Championship will once again be an officially recognised World Women’s Snooker Tour ranking event.
The WSF Junior Championship and WSF Championship are open to all amateur players from around the world and of all nationalities and genders.
Further information in respect of the WSF Women’s Championship can be found via the WWS website, with the event set to include additional side-tournaments for Under-21 and Seniors players (subject to entries).
All players, referees and officials must be accommodated at the hotel Marinela whilst competing in the event. This must be booked through WPBSA SnookerScores through the Travel and Hotel Details online form (see below). Anyone who does not book through this way will not be allowed to play.

All entries and payments must be received through the WPBSA SnookerScores website.
Players can also submit their hotel and travel requirements via WPBSA SnookerScores via their ‘My Player’ page after they have entered the event. View the invitation letter for full instructions.
The deadline for entries, payments and the submission of hotel/airport transfer requirements for both events is 13.00pm CET on Friday 9 January 2026.
