Scott MacFarlane defeated Michael Collumb in the final to win the 2015 Scottish National Snooker Championship at the Minnesota Fats Club in Glasgow.

Both players made their way through the previous rounds earlier in the season to reach the title match. MacFarlane dominated early on taking a 4-0 lead, although a 30 clearance from Collumb saw him open his account in frame five.

However, MacFarlane stopped the threat of any momentum from his opponent by claiming frame six on the black before later making a break of 66 to secure the championship with a 7-2 victory.

A few days later at the same venue, Pat McKinney lifted the Scottish National Masters title (for those aged over 40) following a 5-2 success over former professional Craig MacGillivray.

In this season’s junior categories, Dylan Craig registered breaks of 68 and 65 in defeating Chris Totten 5-1 to win the Scottish National Under-19 Snooker Championship.

Calvin Gourlay claimed a junior double by getting the better of Scott Coventry 5-1 and Steven Mollins 3-0 in the respective finals of the Scottish National Under-16 and Under-14 Snooker Championships.
