Teenager Chris Totten became the youngest winner of the Scottish National Snooker Championship since Stephen Hendry after his victory over former professional Craig MacGillivray in the 2016 final at The Creamery in Falkirk.

The annual competition was played in stages across the past two months. Totten recorded 4-0 wins in the last 32 and 16 before triumphs over Paul Hardy (5-1) in the quarter-finals and Michael Collumb (6-3) in the last four got him into the title match.

The 17-year-old registered breaks of 68 and 50 in a 7-4 defeat of MacGillivray.
